Ever since I was little, I felt a connection with dogs. I cherish their companionship and affection, I love their playful spirit, simple approach to life and most of all, I admire their honesty.
I hear dog language! Dogs tell it like it is.
Dogs have a lot to say, if you learn to listen.
Really listen.
When I started fostering dogs over two decades ago, I realized that those dogs labeled with 'behavioral issues,' were simply not being heard.
Often times, behaviors can be modified by simply slowing down, observing, respecting a dog's boundaries and listening to their needs. I found that being a dog/owner translator is one of the most mutually rewarding transformations to be a part of.
